On April 3, 2016 Georgia hosted the delegation of the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC) with its chairman LU Jianzhong aimed to engage Georgia as an ancient country of Silk Road, in facilitating the development of economical and cultural relations between the countries along the Silk Road Region.

Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC), is a non-profit and non-political international commercial organization jointly initiated and founded in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region by the chamber’s of commerce of the countries along the Silk Road and the Tang West Market Group, whose chairman of the board is the vice-president of China Chamber of International Commerce.

The main goal and mission is to determine the overall developing vision and action plan of economic and trade development and cultural revival of the Silk Road; to boost the economic and social development of the state members and the countries along the Silk Road.

On April 5, 2016 at Tbilisi Marriot Hotel was held an introductive presentation on the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce attending by A-LOG as well as a member of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI).

During the presentation cooperation memorandum was signed between Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC) and Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) meaning fostering economic cooperation among businesses, associations and government institutions of the countries along the Silk Road. And Georgia is essential part of this process.

A-LOG thanks to Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for inviting us to the above event and giving us opportunity to take part in interesting meetings arranged within the visit.

მსოფლიო ბანკი წელს საქართველოში ეკონომიკის 5.5%-იან ზრდას პროგნოზირებს (EN)

მსოფლიო ბანკმა გლობალური ეკონომიკის განახლებული შეფასება გამოაქვეყნა. ანგარიშის მიხედვით, 2022 წელს საქართველოს ეკონომიკა, სავარაუდოდ, 5.5%-ით გაიზრდება, 2023 წელს კი ზრდა 5% იქნება. ამ მაჩვენებლით საქართველოში ზრდის პროგნოზი უფრო მაღალია, ვიდრე მეზობელ სომხეთსა და აზერბაიჯანში.
