The networking event “Building Bridges: Developing Business Opportunities through Peer Collaboration,” was held on September 3, 2024, in Tbilisi, Georgia, at Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace Hotel . The event is organized by the Women Business Council in Georgia (WBCG) in partnership with the Ukrainian Platform “Women in Business”, within “WE-Champs: Strengthening the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem by Networking Regional Women’s Chambers of Commerce and Business Associations” (WE-Champs) project, implemented by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) and funded by the U.S.
State Department Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Issues (S/GWI).
Launched in October 2022, WE-Champs project aims to strengthen women’s economic security by supporting women’s chambers of commerce and business associations through locally designed and led responses to building gender-responsive institutions and responding to the needs of women members, in all their diversity. 25 women’s business associations and chambers of commerce from Europe, Central Asia and Africa are supported by WE-Champs in three areas: -
association excellence, - networking and - advocacy.”
On December 14, 2023, WBCG and the UPWB signed the partnership memorandum in the framework of the largest Networking Event, “Connecting Women for Economic Empowerment,” in Tbilisi. WBCG and Ukrainian platform “Women in Business,” next to other respectful
associations, are participants of the WE-Champs project.
