Port Poti in Georgia still closed

Port Poti is currently closed. Problem occurred since 16:45 pm of November 20 due to bad weather condition and as a result it is forbidden to berth vessels in port.

According to the Ministry of Maritime Transport Agency, the work will be resumed on November 21 at about 17:00 pm and will operate smoothly till 24:00 pm on November 22. The port is expected to start operating at full capacity on Tuesday 25 November.

Delays of birthing vessels at port Poti

Due to heavy storm (gale: 4-5 points) previous days port Poti was closed for navigation of vessels from 3:30pm December of 30th until 8:30am January of 1st, from 3:00pm January of 2nd until 6:40am January of 3rd and from 3:10pm January of 4th until 4:30am January of 5th.
